Hotel Tivoli Palacio de Seteais- Sintra

The best hotel deal in Lisbon is Palais de Seteais on hillsides overlooking Sintra, northwest of Lisbon. Room rates are available with 50% discount at this historic five-star hotel. The Palais is an 18th century castle. Tapestries hang on walls surrounding the 7-meter high ceilings. The crystal chandeliers in the public areas will astound you.

Not normally considered a bargain hotel, the secret is that calls within 36 hours of arrival frequently net knowledgeable travelers up to a 60% discount. One of Lisbon’s best restaurants is located at Olissippo Lapa Palace.

Hotel Aveneda Palace

A famous 19th century hotel retaining the luxury for which it is famous for over one-hundred years. Located city center, its famous Portuguese breakfast buffet is free for guests. The 80 plus rooms has recently been renovated without removal of the 19th century beauty.

Locally, this hotel is known as the DAH. Situated nearer the airport than downtown, this hotel lets it guests obtain more of a feel for interacting with local citizens. Rooms are comfortable; some guests complained about the small bathrooms. Parking is available in a locked underground garage. The hotel is close to several metro stations and bus lines. Breakfast is provided, and the hotel has a roof lounge that overlooks the whole city.

The hotel is located on the Rua Cristovao Falcao at No. 8.

 2. Holiday Inn Express Lisbon Oeiras

This is a budget hotel with a brand name that most Americans will recognize. This hotel is situated in the business park area of Lisbon and Oeiras. You will need a rental car or taxi to reach the location. Located in the suburban area of Lisbon, there is not much public transportation here. The hotel has WiFi, parking, and is close to a golf course, shopping and restaurants. This is a good choice if you want to stay away from the downtown bustle of Lisbon. The hotel is near the A5, a major highway leading to Lisbon. A free breakfast is included in the room price.

 This charming hotel is cheap, cheerful and close to everything in the centre of Lisbon. You will love the atmosphere and price, but you might not like the stairs so much – not advisable for those who have difficulty walking.

A comfortable four-star cheap hotel in Lisbon, the Altis Park Hotel is conveniently located near Parque Olaias subway station for easy access to the city. Guests are treated to a complimentary buffet breakfast and a good range of tasty, cheap vegetarian meals are available in their restaurant including Green Lasagna ‘Florentina’ and stuffed Cannelloni.

Hotel Botânico

This beautiful hotel is ideally located for shopaholics. It’s in the centre of Lisbon, between between the Jardim Botânico and the Avenida da Liberdade. It’s within easy walking distance from the metro and the city centre. Hotel Botânico has a generous buffet breakfast and a cheap, high-quality vegetarian restaurant directly across the road for any veggies who don’t want to go too far for a tasty meal.

Corgo do Pardieiro

Where: Amoreiras-Gare, 7630-514 Odemira Municipality, Portugal 

Located in Portugal’s rural south west, in the region of Odemira and Ourique, the Corgo do Pardieiro is perfectly located for a retreat from the city. Being just a train ride away from Lisbon (or around two hours by car), it’s also easy to reach. You have the option to stay in a double studio apartment with its own wood stove, to camp in a tent or even bring your own caravan. Whatever you choose, you’ll wake to freshly baked bread and an assortment of vegetarian or vegan options. Corgo do Pardieiro is surrounded by the Alentejan hills, close to beaches, lakes, beautiful trees and villages.
